MCC List 2027

MS-DRG v44.0 (FY2027, effective October 1, 2026) treats 3,357 ICD-10-CM codes as an MCC (major complication or comorbidity). Reported as a secondary diagnosis, an MCC can move the case to a higher-weighted DRG, unless the principal diagnosis is on that code's exclusion list.
